I wanted to share a little bit about why I decided to add the strength of the stones in chapter two of book one; sub-title (A Jewels Journey). First the publisher at that time (Covenant Books) asked me if I was sure I wanted to leave that part in the book, it being a Christian book. I told her at that time I wanted to leave that in to explain the ability and strength that character brought to the story. It was not meant to be about magical, mystical powers or spells of any kind. Although I do believe that there is a spiritual world all around us. There are all kinds of beautiful stones and gems all over this world and God created them.
The above scripture I’ll quote “For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. ALL things were created through Him and for Him.” HIM being the God of heaven our creator.
We know geology is the study of the earth, science is involved, and it combines math, chemistry, physics and biology. It helps us know our past and our future. Stones come in all sizes, colors and shapes and they are known to have healing properties. They are minerals that we need.
Stones and Gems are referenced in the bible several times. Stones were represented as the twelve tribes of Israel that was placed in the breastplate of Israel’s high priest. The strength of the stones is attributed to the power of God. God is a supreme being and He is the one that makes natural things supernatural. His Super, our natural = Supernatural and these two books brings a story of a Creator that loves so much He would bring His super into our natural existence.
